We are looking for a high-performing Sales Manager, to help us meet our revenue growth targets by keeping our company competitive and innovative. The Sales Manager will manage and oversee our sales operations and marketing division. Main duties include developing and cultivating relationships with clients. Lead our sales division by implementing sales plans to increase the companys profit and motivating our national sales team members to hit their sales goals. As the Sales Manager, you will need provide ongoing strategy to serve the marketplace, and build a strong foundation of new clientele.
*Responsibilities: *
* Works with the clients in advance to ensure a sale and then follows through with the client to plan and implement their needs.
* Creates awareness and actively sells and solicits all services through attendance at trade shows and other industry functions.
* Integral in the development and monitoring of marketing strategies to produce both short term and long-term profitability
* Provides input into the research, development, evaluation and implementation of new products, services, technology, and processes to ensure competitive position and in anticipation of changing customer needs.
* Maintains thorough knowledge of competitors products and pricing
* Must possess highly developed verbal & written communication skills to frequently negotiate convince sell and influence other managerial personnel existing tenant(s) and/or corporate clients.
* Must have thorough experience with professional selling skills: opening probing supporting closing
* Shows strong analytical skills and strategic vision in establishing appropriate sales deployment
* Additional responsibilities include sales and marketing budget forecasts; advertising marketing and business plans; manages within approved plans and budgets.
* Prior sales management experience selling in similar field or markets is required. Direct Mail sales experience is preferred.
* Must be able to work independently and simultaneously manage multiple tasks
* Strong organization and presentation skills
* Must work well in stressful high-pressure situations; maintain composure and objectivity under pressure.
* Coordinate sales automation efforts ensuring a region sales database is developed and managed for various email campaigns and customer solicitation efforts to maximize overall revenue
* Proactively conduct outside sales calls
* Understand the content reflected in contracts and how to negotiate terms therein.
* Develop and maintain market awareness to ensure ability to predict revenue opportunities and set proactive strategies
* Monitor production of all top accounts and evaluate trends within your market.
* Train all sales members how to recognize and capitalize on all sales opportunities to increase each facilities occupancy and revenue.
* Attend and/or conduct daily/weekly/monthly meetings and any other functions required by management providing training on a rotational basis.
* Expertise in maintaining SOPs standard and process
* Performs other job-related duties as assigned
*Qualifications: *
* 5+ years of experience in the direct mail and marketing industry
* 5+ years of experience in sales & sales management
* Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university
* Proficiency in the following computer applications: Windows, Excel, google sheets, Word, and Database software
